Mr. Vlad is the President of DJV Associates, Inc. He leads a team of dedicated search professionals specializing in middle and senior level executive placements across a spectrum of industries, including customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management and the healthcare sector. In addition, the organization features a nationally-recognized legal placement practice. Mr. Vlad’s personal search practice is focused on the CRM and BPO sectors, Managed Care / Workers' Compensation and Logistics / Supply Chain Management.

Mr. Vlad has had a long and distinguished career in senior marketing, corporate planning and global business development roles with a number of major U.S. and Global Corporations. At the ICT Group, he was Senior Vice President, Marketing & Corporate Development, guiding the repositioning of the business into a leader in the CRM/BPO services market, in part by developing a focus on the PBM sector. At GE Capital, he served as Executive Vice President for a billion dollar equipment leasing unit; at the CIGNA Corporation, he was a Corporate Officer providing strategic guidance and leadership to the company’s $12 billion managed care organization, and a Vice President in the company’s $4 billion property and casualty insurance unit..

During his ten years with Ryder System, he developed and instituted the market strategy which led to the growth of the company’s third party logistics/supply chain management organization into a multi-billion dollar business, and spearheaded the company’s entry into the European logistics and equipment leasing markets.

While at Booz, Allen and Hamilton, Mr. Vlad was a member of the team which oversaw the federal bailout and operational restructuring of a major U.S. OEM automobile manufacturer. He began his career at the Ford Motor Company in product development.

Mr. Vlad has a S.B. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He spent a number of his formative years in Europe and speaks French and Italian.
